Our story
The Dispensary Arugambay is a 24-hour medical centre and pharmacy on Panama Road, Arugam Bay, trusted by surfers, travellers and local families alike.
Our doctor has 35 years of experience and is the former head of Pottuvil Hospital. He specialises in surfing and sea-related injuries — reef cuts, board impacts, sprains, ear infections, sea-urchin stings and sunburn. We also treat heat rash, stomach illness, fever, allergies and everyday conditions for both tourists and local patients.
The pharmacy stocks prescription medicines, first-aid supplies and health essentials at reasonable prices. Walk-ins welcome, emergencies attended day or night. Proudly serving Arugam Bay, Pottuvil and the east-coast community.
